Salutations, Brigade!
I'm coming to you from Prailles, a tiny French village just outside of Geneva, Switzerland. I last wrote from a different small French village just outside of Geneva. That week was spent with the Kenny Clan, and ended with Pat and I taking a tour of the CERN underground.
How was it? It was cool. Definitely. I left feeling very impressed and also feeling as though I have far too little knowledge about anything they were talking about to be as impressed as I should be. There were some fun photos, though.

I don't believe it. Also, the time delay on this video screen was very fun to mess with. |

They're doing really cool stuff in this thing, when it's put together and turned on. |
With my time in Geneva coming to an end I planned to hitch to Paris for a few days while waiting to meet up with my friend Remi for a road trip. As luck would have it, however, I received an e-mail from the amazing Becky Krenz, addressed to me and another friend informing us we were both in France. I e-mailed him immediately and said, "Can I come over?" and he said, "OK." So I got on the train and arrived to a wonderful ride on a scooter...

Unnecessary photo of scooter. |
arrived at the beautiful home,

The actual home is beautiful, but it's really the perks that make you fall in love with the place. |
and met the family
and friends of Ian Royer!
 |
Royer (tongue) and his awesome friends. |
It was a whirlwind two day trip that turned into a three day trip when I learned there was a small town festival that Ian and his friends were attending on Sunday night. Basically it was three days of swimming and eating delicious food and three nights of partying with Ian Royer. This is all the detail I shall go into but I can assure you it was a positive experience.
And then it was off to Paris and the lovely Confida family villa a few hours away from Paris with my wonderful French-but-met-him-in-Australia friend Remi.

Remi's dad in front of there villa. Wait, I'll back up so you can see it better. |

Ideal French 150 year-old summer home? Check. Wait, there's more cool stuff if I back up a little more... |
 |
Statue, old old brick wall, and old church across the street. Am I in a movie about an old French village? Perfect. |
And from there we started our road trip with Matthew and met up with our friends Jamie and Leia in...Geneva!
 |
French journalist and Chris Mentzel look alike, Matthew. |
A beautiful circle, and out next stop sends us near Montpellier (home of the Royers), so I may just keep going in French circles for the rest of my life. I don't know, it could happen.
I am making up now for a year of no comments! I love your french circles, old villas, cheese and parties. Yes!
